Rugby League World Cup 2008 - Australia
Ok Rugby World Cup fans here we go. Aussies can celebrate with Australia the 2008 host nation for the Rugby World Cup for both the men’s and women’s competitions.
Show your support for our Kangaroos at one of the many matches being played around the country.
First game kicks off on October 22, and the final will be held at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on the 22 November. Lets make sure our team knows we want them to win and keep the title at home!
Australia has managed to win 9 victories out of the 12 World Cups to date.
And let’s make sure we lend our support to the Jillaroos women’s team this year. The current title holder is New Zealand, and our home team has never won a title. We are hoping this year for that to change with the home side advantage. If you live on the Sunshine Coast then make your way to Stockland Park and show your support!
